Brumbies lock off to Japan

Missing out: Adam Wallace-Harrison hasn't seen enough first team action this year

Brumbies lock Adam Wallace-Harrison has signed a lucrative two-year deal with the Kobe club in Japan, signaling his departure from the Super 14 franchise at the end of the season.

28-year-old has been unable to win a regular place for the Brumbies after being a fixture in 2006 and 2007.

Wallace-Harrison has been the Brumbies' 'Mr Versatile', playing at lock, flank and number eight.

Brumbies full-back Mark Gerrard has been named to make his return from a hamstring strain in Saturday's clash against the Blues in Auckland.

Number eight Stephen Hoiles has been ruled out and will be covered by Julian Salvi.
