Welsh woe: Bennett joins growing injury list

Wales have been dealt a further injury blow with the news that Huw Bennett has been ruled out of the summer tour to South Africa.

The Ospreys hooker limped from the field during Shane Williams' testimonial game last week due to ankle ligament damage and has been deemed unfit to face the world champions.

Wales boss Warren Gatland is now without Grand Slam-winning heroes Martyn Williams, Lee Byrne, Gavin Henson, Mike Phillips, Dwayne Peel, Alix Popham and Bennett.

Club team-mate Richard Hibbard has been called up to train with the squad, but no decision has been made yet as to whether he will fly with the squad on the two-Test tour against the Boks.
