Northland player Bronson Murray has been cited for allegedly stamping on Taranaki flanker Scott Waldrom in their Air New Zealand Cup match at New Plymouth on Friday.
The prop was cited by citing commissioner John Wootton for the incident in the 61st minute of the match.
Murray will appear before judicial officer Bruce Squire QC at the New Zealand Rugby Union offices in Wellington on Wednesday.
