Treu: Considering quiting
South Africa Sevens rugby coach Paul Treu could be lost to the Springbok team at the end of 2010, it has been reported on Wednesday.
Treu said he has to make "vital career decisions" in the next two years.
He also revealed that he has had an offer from abroad as well as two within South Africa.
Treu's big dream is to guide the "Blitz Boks" to the Sevens world crown, but without his strongest side it will stay an uphill battle.
Season after season Treu has to start fresh looking for new talent to replace his stars.
And as the pressure mounts for Treu to win the South African stage of the IRB Sevens World Series in George for the first time, he has already pointed out the difficult task ahead without so many of his first-choice players.
Stefan Basson and MJ Mentz have to continue their careers in Italy, and there is no guarantee that the Cheetahs Super 14 franchise will release his latest stars Robert Ebersohn and Wilton Pietersen, who have impressed so far in the Currie Cup this season.
In another blow to his team, Kabamba Floors has signed a contract extension with the Cheetahs ruling him out of next season's international fixtures as well as the World Cup in Dubai from 5-7 March.
